If you are a fresher and worrying about how to make a resume for fresher without any experience, then stop taking more tension about is because writing a CV for freshers is a bit easy task. it is a bit different from a normal resume, but it is easier then it looks.
What is a Resume?
Resume is a record of all your professional achievements, your educational qualification, your certificates your work ex and all other details about you that make the case for the job. Resume is the First thing or we can say a contact that a company see before you in person.
There is a popular saying "First Impression is the last impression" Your resume is the first impression of you. It is what you are on a single piece of a paper. Resume consist of what all you have done in your academic and personal life and it gives a brief summary about you to the company.
USA and other American countries call it a resume, and most of the rest of the world describe it as a curriculum vitae (CV). In India it is known by both the name some call it as a resume or some describe it as a CV. 3)- Combination Resume - This type of resume is combination of both functional and chronological resume. it list the knowledge and specific skills of yours, and it also lists the dates of any previous employment, and it is most useful for the people who learn new skills from unrealetd sectors and would like to emphasize it.
Layout of Your Resume
1)- Contact Information - The first information that you will write in your resume is your contact information at the foremost and top of the resume which will include -

2)- About me - When you go to some interview the first question that anyone will ask to you is "Tell me About Yourself" and thats exactly what you have to write in this section its like a small introduction about your self.. it will give a small summery of yourself to the recruiters which will include your goal and objective.
3)-Education Qualification - Here you will include your education qualification in a chronological order from recent to past or past tto recent. having a excellent education shows your knowledge and your expertise. Here are the main points that you will include in this section -

6) Hobbies - Write about your hobbies which you love do in your free time and for which you are passionate about in your life and which you love to do. Hobbies includes -

Achievements includes Ngo works or any helping work which you have done in the past or if you have scored 100 in any subject or you were the topper of your claas, anything that you have accomplished in your life.
9) Certification - You can write about your certificate course that you have done in your time, it includes certificate in for eg - stock market , Advance Excel , Digital marketing , inbound marketing ,etc which is relevant to your sector.
Do's While Writing Resume -
- Customize your Resume to the sector you are applying to.
- First page should catch the attention of interviewer
- Use bullets instead of paragraphs
- Maintain standerd space between the letters
- Use Keywords that can be read by all the machines
- Use formal readable fonts
- Use font size 12- 14
- Be cautious while mentioning your hobbies.
- Spell check and proof read again.
Don'ts While Writing Resume -
- Don't exceeds 2 pages.
- Don't exceeds 4 - 5 Bullets per section.
- Don't make spelling and grammar mistakes.
- Don't use jargon or slang language.
- Don't include your photograph unless specified.
- Don't lie about your achievements.
- Don't Copy the objective summary from internet, write your original.
Cover Letter - It is Must.
A Cover letter is a must with resume so don't forget to attach a cover letter with your resume. It tells the employer about the position you are interested in and helps to make an initial assessment wheather you fit the job profile or not.
A cover letter is read before your resume is read so it gives initial information and impression about you to the employer.
Each cover letter should be tailor made to the job you are seeking. The cover letter tell the employer about the job you are seeking for in the organisation.
Cover letter tells the employer how qualified are you for the job position and it expresses the points that your resume might not speak about. Many believe it better then a structural resume.
